Welcome to Our Lay-by Service

At O'Brien's Clothing Co, we understand that sometimes you find the perfect item but prefer to pay for it over time. Our lay-by service offers you flexibility and convenience.

Please note: Lay-bys are only available to customers in Perth WA who can visit our store to place a lay-by in person or call us to complete the process over the phone.

Here are the key details you need to know about our lay-by service:

1. Minimum Deposit: All lay-bys require a minimum 20% deposit at the time of purchase.
2. Instalment Payments: Instalments of 20% must be paid every fortnight until the lay-by is paid in full. Failure to make a payment may result in the lay-by being cancelled with 7 days’ notice.
3. Lay-by Expiry: Your lay-by will expire 63 days from the date of sale.
4. Termination Fee: A 20% termination fee will be charged for all cancelled or expired lay-bys.
5. Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your lay-by at any time and receive a refund of all payments made, less the termination fee mentioned in point 4 above.
6. Full Payment Requirement: Lay-bys cannot be split. The sale must be collected in full as per the invoice received.

7. Layby sales are governed by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 for Australia.
